Description:

Sesame Street Reading is Fun! Toddler Edition consists of two Monsterpiece Theatre stories and twelve games on the double CD-ROM set. The first story, "Grover's Travels" is a monsterized version of "Gulliver's Travels" with an emphasis on understanding emotions, the importance of teamwork and sharing. The activities are neatly intermeshed with the story so that the game moves the plot along.

The second story is "The Three Grouchketeers," in which children help Grover, Zoe and Telly Monster on a search to find King Oscar's Royal Pig. King Oscar is in full grouch for this one! There are also six activities on this CD-ROM that kids will enjoy.

Features:

  • Parent's Guide.
  • Printable Activities.
  • Multiple skill levels.
  • Sesame Street songs.
  • 12 edutainment games - all of them innovative, fresh!

Reactions:

My 3 and 4 year old son and daughter couldn't wait to get their hands on this one! After I looked at the first CD, they took it over and spent a couple of hours together, working their way through the story. (We usually limit computer time for the kids, unless they're extremely absorbed in a game, which doesn't happen very often.) This is, without a doubt, the best Sesame Street title we've seen! Action, fun games, it's all here. Reading IS fun for toddlers, with Sesame Street.
