Random House Children's Media and Knowledge have created this two CD-ROM encyclopedia specifically for children ages 7 to 12. The title includes over 170 different tours, a Fact-ory, Arcade and Movie Theater.

Notes:

The arcade includes games, puzzles and activities integrating the knowledge in the encyclopedia. Each game has several levels, 3-D rendered graphics and narrated answers. Articles are written specifically children within the 7-12 year age group, and there are over 4,000 topics from which to choose.

Features:

The Random House Kid's Encyclopedia also contains an online link to the Infonautics' Electric Library - a comprehensive digital archive on the Internet, which expands the product's reach to include hundreds of current full-text newspapers, magazines, international news wires and thousands of books, maps, photographs and major works of art.
