Description:

Pyramid: Challenge of the Pharaoh's Dream is a role-playing game in which you are an archeologist in Egypt who has just discovered the secret entrance to the last unexcavated Egyptian pyramid. After entering the cave, you are challenged to fulfill the Pharoah's dream by entering the past and building a pyramid. The Egyptian people will help you with your task, but you are limited to using only the tools and technology of the time. There are seven levels of challenges, which cover 20 years of pyramid construction. WOW! Pyramid has taken quite a long time to review because there's so much here. Imagine, a virtual trip back in time to Ancient Egypt, the exploration of the LAST pyramid (and no worry about the nasty curses that seem to have plagued the real archeologists who opened pyramids), meeting the gods of that era and learning how pyramids were constructed. You'll even be a bird flying over the construction site, landing where you want to work next. Visually Stunning The graphics in Pyramid are incredible! At 256 colors, it looks a bit grainy but it's still quite exciting. You'll love swooping and flying during Virtual Flight, and you will actually see how pyramids were built. Educational Content Anyone planning a unit course on Ancient Egypt will surely want to include Pyramid and Grolier's How Would You Survive? - access that review http://www.gamesdomain.com/tee/reviews/survi.htm HERE. Information is presented in both of these excellent titles in easily understandable terms that will make a long-term impression on young minds.
