Description:

Putt-Putt and Pep's Balloon-O-Rama is one of Humongous Entertainment's new Junior Arcade series. The goal is to help Pep bounce into the air to pop balloons. Some of the balloons are filled with prizes - special prizes make Putt-Putt as long as a limousine or bounce Pep all the way to bonus levels. The catch is that Putt-Putt must catch Pep as he bounces all around, if he hits the ground, he'll have a most unhappy look on his face, and it's easy to tell Putt-Putt's just sick about not catching him!

Reactions:

If you remember the freeware game "Bananoid," you know about this game...only Pep is the ball and the jewels are balloons in this version! We had a lot of fun with this one, it surprised me that our 4 year old played it with no instructions (other than what Putt-Putt told her) and even created levels for herself with no problems. The game holds her attention for up to an hour at a time, and she always protests when it's time to shut down. It's an excellent value for the price, and one the kids will return to time and time again.

NOTE:

This game was much harder to play on the Pentium system than on the 486/66 - it moved so quickly, it was difficult to keep up with the action!
