Math Blaster Pre-Algebra by Davidson creatively introduces algebraic concepts to your children as they guide Rave through Dr. Dabble's mansion. You have two modes to choose from, explore and mystery. The explore mode allows you to focus on specific areas while the mystery mode takes you through the mansion to the third floor. Rave appears to fall to his death, but don't fret, he comes back for 2 more trips, battling increasingly difficult problems.

No technical problems occurred while evaluating this title. The animation and audio both ran smoothly.

Report and Conclusions:

This title will help your children develop the critical thinking skills necessary for algebra and other advanced mathematics. The storyline is interesting and presented in a positive, encouraging way. The tutor takes kids step by step through the solution when they are unable to do it themselves. This is a fun way to learn! The word problems are nicely done, in that they give necessary and unnecessary information, which allows kids to practice processing and sorting out the details.
