Technical Aspects:

Super Jewelry Kit installed quickly, and ran with no problems - but be aware, the designs do take up additional space on your hard drive. I had to dig around and find files to delete from other programs before we could print anything. The interface bothered me because 1) when making earrings, there's no option to copy the first one - some of us might LIKE having a matched set! and 2) some of the time when we thought we were going one place, a different screen came up. We did experience the system freezing up once, and no picture would appear on the painting page. Shutting down and restarting seemed to resolve it, though.

Reports and Conclusions:

We spent an afternoon designing, printing, cutting out, baking and assembling our beautiful jewelry! I designed a really cute set of Christmas earrings for myself, but when our 4 year old daughter saw them, well - they aren't mine. All of the hardware you'll need is included - earring clips, studs and hooks, bar pins, jump rings and cording. Of course, if you run out of supplies, more can be ordered from the company at their 800 number!

This is a great way for kids to get involved with making holiday gifts, and we were thrilled with the professional looks we achieved. Adding your own photographs to the designs just makes it all the more fun!
