Description:

The first thing you should know about the Pink Panther: Passport to Peril is that the theme song isn't the one we all know and love. Major disappointment - bad, bad game. No, no, not really! Once I got over not hearing that catchy old "Ch-ching, ch-ching..." Henry Mancini made so familiar, the game is a lot of fun. The Pink Panther is exploring foreign lands, outwitting evil villains and talking to everyone in sight. See, Pink is in charge of eleven children who are staying at Camp Chilly Wa-Wa - the children of high-profile dignitaries visiting from around the world, getting to know each other and talking about world peace. In an effort to keep his charges happy, he'll be stopping by their homelands to pick up a few items for each of them to allay their terrible bouts of homesickness. Along the way, you and Pink will meet Durga, the Warrior Goddes, visit the Cairo market, an English pub - and lots more. Also, there's a "PDA" - Personal Digital Assistant - with over 250 full pages of information on the countries you'll visit!

Comparisons

Passport to Peril is a bit more difficult than, say, Muppet Treasure Island. It also has more clickables and is just plain sillier, too. Your mission...

Reactions

My oldest daughter, age 12, loves the Pink Panther and enjoyed this game immensely. The two younger children (ages 2 and 3) enjoyed watching the video sequences and the music videos. It's truly a family game, and lots of fun!
