Create-A-Book is one of the latest releases from PrintPaks, a company founded by three former Hewlitt-Packard employees. These creative people came up with the idea for PrintPaks because they had the notion that computers and printers should do MORE. So they've set about creating titles that have opened a new genre of software: Multimedia Crafts. Each title includes all the software and materials needed to create and complete a project with a home PC and color printer. This particular title allows kids to make three personal books in a variety of styles: storybooks, activity books, scrapbooks, or a combination of all three. There's considerably more artwork in Create-A-Book than in some of the previous PrintPaks' titles, too. The interface is very easy to use and Max the Mutt is a fun guide.

PrintPaks are lots of fun! Any time there's a new product, there's rejoicing at my house - kids everywhere, ready to check it out. Parents will appreciate the fact that all materials are included, and in generous amounts. Photographs and clip art can be imported into PrintPak projects, as well. This package will allow the creation of three 12-page books, complete with binding, etc. Once the printing is done, the family can work together to put the project together. It's fun, easy and looks great!
