Technical Aspects:

We encountered no problems installing or running this title. Please note that the software will run on a 486-66 machine, however, the IBM Speech Recognition Technology works only on Pentium machines. The speech is clearly spoken, and books can be personalized by recording and playing them back.

Report and Conclusions:

Let's Go Read! is jam-packed with fun activities and adventures your kids will enjoy as they practice skills essential to reading. They'll enjoy the 20 adventure locations, farm animals, stories and more. Edmark says there's a year's worth of learning in this title - we'd agree with that. My 4 year old is enjoying this program, talking to the computer takes some getting used to but she's having fun with it. "Mom, they really HEARD me!" This content-rich title will help your 4 to 6 year old with early reading skills, and for a price of $45.00, includes a hat and microphone (introductory offer.)
