Great Wave Software has introduced KidsTime Deluxe, which includes five programs in one package design. All the programs speak the letters and numbers, and PICT files can be imported into puzzle games.

• Dot-to-Dot for enhancing alphabet and number skills.
• Letter recognition and keyboard/mouse skills.
• Music reading, writing and playing.
• Levels of difficulty adjust.
• Story Writer is a child's word processor - use pictures and words to create stories.

Technical Aspects:

We didn't have any problems while installing or running this program. The graphics are bright and the sound effects will hold your child's attention.

Report and Conclusions:

KidsTime Deluxe provides a nice variety of activities, progresses at the child's own pace, and can be used with other graphics. My kids enjoyed the dot-to-dot puzzles and said it was their favorite part. And while the price of $49.95 seemed a bit pricey to me at first, think of it this way: if you bought a puzzle game, a dot-to-dot game, an ABC game, a music game and a child's word processor separately, you could really plunk down a lot of cash!

Actually, if you have a wide variety of software, this one won't offer much in new activities. If you've just bought a system and are looking for children's software, this program does offer a good range of programs.
