Music has introduced the Piano Discovery System, Version 3.0, which comes complete with a MIDI keyboard (49 full sized keys,) MIDI cables, a CD-ROM with a year's worth of beginner lessons and one CD-ROM called Magic Player Piano for well under $300.00 USD. This is a comprehensive learning program, one which encompasses the basics of reading and playing music, along with historical notes about composers and individual pieces.

Reactions:

I have a confession to make: when this package arrived, we ripped it open and have had a blast playing and learning with it. The younger kids enjoy hearing the music and watching the keys and notes light up, while our oldest has been working to learn how to play. We don't really have room for a full size piano around here and the keyboard takes up little room. The lessons themselves are fun, build upon the student's progress, and can be repeated at whim. Kids and adults alike work at their own pace, there's no pressure. It's a very nicely integrated package, installs easily and runs beautifully, earning our highest award easily.

We also installed the program to a Zip disk and it ran just fine from that, too. We loaded it on our P100 system as well and the software ran without problems there either. This is one title we're able to wholeheartedly recommend to your family!
