Price: $35.00 US

Description:

I've got the power! Oh, excuse me, the heady feeling of having ultimate fashion control momentarily came over me, I'm back to normal now. Imagina Digital Makeover System is the force responsible for my short lapse just a minute ago. This makeover system allows the user to start with a model of a young girl and do a total makeover using different styles of hair, makeup, and clothes. You can even change the measurements of waist, hips and bustline!

Features:

  • Photo realistic model
  • Lots of styles to choose from
  • Diary
  • Zodiac

Technical Aspects:

Imagina installed easily and ran without any discernable glitches. The wait times for each addition to the model took a while, but my system is the minimum required for the program; at least a P133 is recommended, and mine is a lowly P100.

Report and Conclusions:

When Imagina Digital Makeover came in the mail, my 11 year old daughter was excited. She immediately went to the computer to play it. She enjoyed it, but her interest wasn't held very long. Her reasons were that there weren't enough choices, and also that it needed more model choices. You can download new items to add to the program (shoes, prom themes, etc.), but as of yet there aren't any new faces. Also, there is an "add your own face" add-on for $19.95, but that pushes the total price to $55, a little steep for this type of software.

Overall, a very good idea, but it needs more depth for extended play: different models of diverse ethnicity, the "add your own face" included, (or allow digital camera shots/scanned images to be used) and more makeover options.
