Age Group: Age 2 to 5
Type: Thinking Games
Price: $29.95 US

Description:

This Busytown title focuses on real life experiences and will build general knowledge to provide a solid basis for early learners. There are eight areas from harvesting wheat to building a road. Besides that it is very informative, it's fun.

Features:

  • 8 activities.
  • A new sing-a-long in each activity.
  • Teaches community roles and processes.
  • Word recognition and vocabulary.

Technical Aspects:

How Things Work run in DOS but is much easier to use than the first title, Busytown. It is fun flying around in Lowly Worm's apple/helicopter and helping with community projects! The colors are bright and are true to the Busytown cartoon graphics.

Report and Conclusions:

This program is a lot of fun! Kids are so curious about how things are done, and through play, they can learn how and why about many of their questions. From assembling machines, picking up trash and recycling to helping plant and grow wheat, kids will enjoy feeling a sense of accomplishment as they play.
