Diamar Interactive's latest release is Hop - Skip Jump-a-roo Zoo, designed to teach kids about animals. While it is an interactive storybook, there are also six activity centers, and included with the title is a felt puppet that will encourage creativity and fun. There are also fun print-out activities that kids will love.

Technical Aspects:
We had no problems with this kid-friendly title! The graphics are bright and will appeal to younger kids.
Report and Conclusions:
There's a lot to do at the Zoo! My kids enjoyed helping check in the animals as they arrived, matching them to their habitats. There's a complete art center - make your own creations and print your own coloring book pages. Learn animal names and sounds while you take their pictures! There's also a fun story about visiting the zoo and even games, puppets and masks to print out, or you can construct a map of the zoo. My 5 and 3 year olds have really enjoyed playing with this title, and there's information on all sorts of animals, including common household pets such as guinea pigs and parakeets (well, they're common at MY house, anyhow!) This is an excellent introduction for youngsters, but beware, my kids have been demanding another trip to the local zoo!
