Grossology was created to teach kids about human bodily functions by appealing to children's natural sense of humor. The hostess is Ginger Vitis, who rewards kids with a certificate once they've completed each lab - then they play the Ack Attack game to become an Official Grossologist. This title deliberately plans to be gross and is hugely successful. Beware, if you're offended by Spit, Burps, Boogers, Snot, Scabs, Poop, Farts, Pee and other terms used, just go on, because all of that is here - and MORE.

Technical Aspects:

While Grossology puked, peed, belched and pooped its way across the screen, the sounds were loud and clear, uninterrupted by choppy audio or video. This title runs as smoothly as diarrhea...

Report and Conclusions:

Gross, gross, gross! There are songs too, nasty little ditties kids will love. They can even be printed out (although I can't imagine why anybody'd want to!) The fact is that there is a great deal of information about the human body here, as well as teaching about what causes zits and other conditions, and even what you can do to help.

The only *really* offensive term I found was calling an anus a "butt-hole." That seemed like a bit much to this Mom, but the entire title is totally overboard. Some people would be offended by this product from beginning to end, so if you're not into bodily humor, skip it. My bratty kid brother would have loved this! It's for kids ages 6 to 14 years and does avoid sexual material. Utterly grossà
