Description:

Gregory and the Hot Air Balloon is one of a new line of interactive story books called StoryQuests. The StoryQuests series aims to allow children to enjoy adventures while developing logical reasoning, problem solving, phonics, creative arts, letter recognition, and counting. The stories spring to live through the animations and music. This title introduces us to Gregory Chuckwood, a woodchuck, and his pet lizard, Newt - who acts more like a dog than a lizard. Gregory and Newt are involved in a hot air balloon ride that carries them away, literally. After a crash landing, Gregory finds a local carnival where he can find the supplies he'll need to get home.

Notes:

At the Acorn Hollow Bookstore, there are three narrated stories kids will enjoy. This is likely the first time anyone's done individual stories within an interactive storybook.

Features:

Great Mentallo's Guessing Game, The Fun House, MacMoo's Ice Cream Parlor, The Great Maze Home, and Ferris Wheel. Each of these offers areas for exploration and fun. And, as always, Broderbund hits the mark with Gregory and the Hot Air Balloon.
