Goosebumps - Attack of the Mutant is a role playing game (RPG) by Dreamworks Interactive. In the opening scenes, you're riding a bus while reading a comic book, the Masked Mutant. Suddenly, you slip into the comic book world, and when you get off the bus, you've been delivered to none other than Mutant Headquarters! You'll find out pretty quickly that the League of Good Guys is around, because Dinah, their female member, comes by to let you know that the Mutant is aware of your presence and is apprehensive because you're an unknown quantity. She then asks you to help save the world from the Mutant. Pretty soon, you'll be armed with a rake and ready to roll!

Technical Aspects:
We had no problems during installation - this game does require DirectX 5.0 drivers, and they are included. We did notice some choppiness in the audio here and there, and load times were a bit slow - not too bad, though, overall.
Report and Conclusions:
This title is totally different from the previous Goosebumps release, Escape from Horrorland in plot, and yet, the game engines are a bit similar. Attack of the Mutants shows off a more refined interface, and is very easy to maneuver. It's designed for children 6 to 10 years of age, is an absorbing game, and who knows - you may save the world from the Mutant.
