The recipes included here are not for the faint-hearted, unadventerous or fat/sugar conscious diners, sorry. Many of the recipes call for cream or butter...or both.

Notes:

ELLE Cooking advertises itself as a complete encyclopedia of cooking. While that may be a bit overstated, this title would make a nice wedding or housewarming gift - it even covers mincing and dicing. The featured recipes are reprints from the women's magazine ELLE.
