Description:

Darby the Dragon is the delightful story of a dragon prince who casts a spell on his big sister, Sparkle, to shrink her to a small size. Now he has to find the wizard to learn how to reverse the spell and then find all the ingredients for it. You'll meet traveling minstrels, street vendors, trolls, fairies and giants, on the journey with Darby. There are puzzles and lessons about cooperation and helping others.

Notes:

Darby the Dragon, available on a Windows and Macintosh hybrid CD-ROM format, is one of Broderbund's StoryQuest series. The program installed easily, the animations ran smoothly and the music was very enjoyable. Kids will appreciate the colorful graphics and animations, too.

The Wizard's Magic Spell Hut, Singing Minstrels, Puppet Theater, Mask Maker's Hut, Desert Hut, Desert Oasis, and three stories within the story - the books are in the library.
