Description:

Shades and JB are back with another in the Workshop series - a fun way for kids to learn math skills they're going to need. This title uses song and activities to teach primary and secondary colors, shapes and sequences.

Features:

  • 6 learning activities.
  • Multiple skill levels.
  • Teaches shapes and colors.
  • Stories are used.

Technical Aspects:

Colors and Shapes Workshop installed quickly and didn't pose any problems during run-time. It does insist upon running in 256 colors, though, so you may have to change your screen resolution.

Report and Conclusions:

My son, age 4, enjoyed the Coloring Book Game best. A story is read as the child chooses colors for the story, characters and scenery. There are 4 different stories, each quite different. This program allows preschoolers to work at their own pace, choose when to change areas, and they can stop during any part of the program. JB and Shades can help your child get off to a solid understanding of the basics.
