The Babysitters Club Friendship is the first in a series of BSC CD-ROM products in development at Philips Media. It is based on the popular "Babysitters Club" novels, movie and Disney series written by Ann M. Martin. The BSC books always present a problem (or several problems!) that work out by the end of the book. The Friendship Kit features all the girls in Stoneybrook, and is true to the spirit of the books in that the girls are all friendly and helpful.

The Friendship Kit is unique, offering a wide range of activities that revolve around the BSC. If you're looking for fun, this title is targeted for ages 8 and up, and is realistic in that pre-teen age range.

Reactions

My 12 year old is very excited about this title, and has enjoyed using it. Her favorite word these days is "AWESOME" and she says it applies to the Friendship Kit. In fact, she told me that she would save her money to buy this herself if I did't review it! As a parent, I feel it's necessary to note that the activities don't have a great deal of depth, and there aren't LOTS of graphics, and even my girl agrees that the "games" are pretty marginal. Also, the girls on the CD don't appear to be the same ones who are on the TV series...but it's still the BSC (and we all know THAT'S what's important here!)
