Reading Blaster 2000 is the Challenge of the Reading Gladiators. Game show hosts Ike and Rita Cuecard are guides to all the fun. There are Adventure stories, games like Get a Clue and Word Zapper, Media Madness (matching phonics) and the Puzzle Room. If those activities don't appeal, create your own commercial - choose the product, name, setting, music and script, then watch it come to life.

Notes:

Reading Blaster 2000 installed with a minimum of fuss and the title ran very smoothly. The audio was very clear and no other technical problems appeared.

This title is similar to Broderbund's Alien Tales program, which has been re-packaged and released as Reading Galaxy. If your children enjoy the Broderbund game, they'll enjoy Reading Blaster 2000 as well. The Broderbund title is based more on specific literary passages, while Davidson's targets phonics.
