Description:

Big Thinkers 1st Grade brings back Ben and Becky Brightly, twins who may be familiar from the Big Thinkers Kindergarten title. They will tumble and twirl their their way through the house and grounds in activities designed to enhance 1st grade curriculums.

Features:

  • 16 activities.
  • Print screens and activities.
  • Multiple difficulty levels.
  • Familiar characters Ben and Becky Brightly.

Technical Aspects:

This title works with Windows 95 Autoplay, and installed, then ran with no problems.

Report and Conclusions:

Big Thinkers 1st Grade utilizes the same interface and layout that the Kindergarten title did, so it will seem like familiar ground being covered - however, the activities are totally different. You'll find stories, paint-by-object, fractions, jigsaw puzzles, time telling, nouns and verbs, science, geography, math skills and much, much more. The SmartCharts allow parents to track each child's progress, and SmartStars are awarded along the way, then used in the SuperStar of Smarts Challenge. We particularly enjoyed the stories and jigsaw puzzles - they can be customized!
