Description:

L3 Interactive, Inc. has released the first history title in its Interactive Learning Cube Library. The interface has the look of a Rubic's Cube, with each square containing videos, text and information on the subject matter. The Atomic Files presents an in-depth chronicle of the Nuclear Age and its impact on our world. The information is presented impartially, the science and history to the development of nuclear weapons, controversy over nuclear energy and more.

Notes:

The Atomic Files works with Windows95 Autoplay and no installation was necessary. The videos were smooth and audio was clear, no choppiness. No other technical problems or run-time errors were found.

Features:

The Atomic Files allows the exploration of a past that directly controls our present and future course. The musical selections include many original pieces from noted composers. The atomic era is chronicled from early (to 1945) and middle years (1945-1963) to the modern era (1963-present.) Also included are the "Atomic Internet Fiels" with a folder of atomic-related Internet links.
