Disney Interactive's 101 Dalmations Escape from DeVil Manor is a role-playing game for children ages 6 to 12, in which they take on the identity of Patches, the hero puppy who is tryig to save the other puppies from Cruella De Vil. Wizzer is along as a help and guide, as the two of you try to break out of the manor and run for help.

Technical Aspects:
As nearly as I can tell, this title runs under Windows MS-DOS. The company evidently anticipates some problems, because 5 pages of the manual are devoted to troubleshooting sound and program difficulties. We didn't have any problems with installation or during runtime. The graphics in the DeVil Manor are incredible, you'll feel like you're there!
Report and Conclusions:
Escape from DeVil Manor is a howling good time! Be sure to look out for Horace and Jasper because they'll lock you up if they can. My oldest daughter (13 years) has even enjoyed playing, and the two younger ones have had fun watching her. Some of the puzzles and areas are a bit difficult to figure out, so it's a good job that Disney Interacitve included solutions in the manual - as well as hints. Try using the hints first, if they're needed, so as not to spoil the game.
