Description:

Twisted Tails puts a new spin on some old tales. In demo mode, 3 tales are available - Goldilocks, Hansel & Gretel, and Cinderella. Children can specify the name of the hero and heroine, and how much of a twist they'd like the story to have - none, half, or full.

The twist is word substitution. Nouns, verbs and adjectives are changed in the story - and you can customize the substitution list to use your own words. My seven year old found the twisted stories very funny, and enjoyed reading them. Choosing new words for the word lists helps reinforce english skills, too.

When you register, there are a total of 10 stories to choose from, all classic fairy tales, including Jack in the Beanstalk, Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty and The Hare and the aTortoise. And the artwork is top-notch, too.
