Finally, there is a program that works as well for a preschooler as a preteen. Seven types of games offer options for everything from a "keyboard banger" to computer art and spelling lists. For the smallest PC hound, activity is provided where almost all keys on the keyboard (excluding Esc and Windows keys) are fair game. Since it is so easy to push a button, a baby who is just learning to speak can have their own game. Words like "Mommy", "Daddy", "Please", and "Up" are related to the thinking pattern of a toddler and soon they will be able to recognize the pattern between written and spoken words which is the first step to reading. Bigger kids can learn to spell their name and eventually use the spelling list, which can be controlled by the parent.
