Dr. Seuss's ABC book was my daughter's favorite book during her toddler and preschool years. I couldn't imagine how they could improve on it, but Random House and Broderbund did an amazing job with this. Ickabod and Izzy read the pages to you, and clicking on them, the letters, or words causes animations and many more words to appear than on the original page. We counted over 20 'A' words!

The download is large, and includes dancing Ickabod and Izzy, and the Letter A page, with full sounds and music. Definitely try 'Let Me Play' to discover all the animations. Some spots have more than 1 animation. When you are finished downloading the installation file (seuss.exe), double click on the application from the file manager to expand it, then run by double clicking it. Here is some added info:

Suess.exe is an installation program. Put it into a new directory. THEN double click it and it will create a new set of files called things like 'abcdemo.exe' and other 'abc...' files. Double click on ABCDEMO.EXE to run the program. If this all works, you can go and delete the original 'suess.exe' file, you won't need it any more, and it will give you back 4 meg of disk space.
