Another nice game that teaches motor control and how to get around in mazes is Jazz Jackrabbit by Epic Megagames. The holiday 1995 edition is great. It has christmas scenes, but also hershey kisses, legos, candy bars and all kinds of neat colorful things. Jazz Jackrabbit does use a weapon to go through the mazes, but it does not appear violent. It comes across as good clean fun. My 4 year old and his friends up to the age 8 love it (she later added that older ones might enjoy it too, including adults).
