Description:

Train your own on-screen dog. These virtual puppies yap, do tricks, and respond when petted. There are 5 different dogs with different behaviors that you can play fetch with, pet, and call. These dogs are adorable and really responsive to their owner's actions! Be warned that your kids will probably be begging for the adoption kit, so that they can give the dogs treats, food, water, and train them.

My 10 year old daughter came across a review of Dogz in the children's magazine 3-2-1 Contact. We downloaded the program, and she enjoyed it immensely until she went to quit. She was then confronted with a screen that said, "Are you sure you don't want to adopt a puppy? I'll have to explain how you don't love them... They'll all be heartbroken." She was then given the choice to either "ADOPT US," or "ABANDON US." Please caution your readers about this program and urge them to exit the demonstration instead of letting their children fall prey to this vulgar merchandising ploy.
