Design your own princesses with this cute little program. Click around on the page, it is full of interesting (and pretty) surprises. First, on the left, a click in the right place will take kids into a screen where they can pick their princess. There are a few different options for hair color and style, eyes, mouth and nose. Then the princess can travel to a little room right in the middle of the castle to put on some make-up. (Not too much!) Then the princess goes through her jewelry box and picks out a pair of earrings and a sparkling tiara.

The first thing that Katherine (age 8) did when she saw the program was made princesses to look like herself and her friends, and then fantasy characters. She took screen shots, edited them, then printed them. She then cut out the framed pictures and mounted them on construction paper, and wrote captions below.
