Description:

Want a good math program that does its job? "Nothin' But the Facts" has three levels of difficulty to encompass many age groups. Kids can start by clicking through a nine-page tutorial. The tutorial walks kids through the basic ideas of math, like adding from right to left, and carrying the ones. Then kids can progress to a practice session where 24 flash cards will pop up on the screen in random order. After they finish practicing, they may feel confident enough to press on to the math drill. The drill asks kids to test their skills against a clock. The questions and time limits are based on the level. As kids get better they can press on to the next level, and more challenging quizzes.

The demo version only has addition problems, but includes all three levels and all three activities. With registration, kids will be able to learn subtraction, multiplication, and division. The versatility of this math program makes it possible to use with kids of many different age groups and levels. The game isn't flashy, but certainly provides excellent learning resources.
