This Hypercard program describes some of the common birds found in the Metolius Basin of Central Oregon. Includes colored artwork of the birds, information, and slide show. Click on the bird to show more information about the bird.

While it is not specifically designed for little kids, the interface is very simple, and they might enjoy looking at the bird illustrations even if they can't read yet. Could also make nice lap-ware, with an adult or older child reading the names to a young one.
