DESCRIPTION

An uninhabited rocky outcrop, Navassa Island lies halfway between Cuba and Haiti, in the Caribbean. The island, also claimed by Haiti, is used by Haitians fishing the local waters. They also sometimes hunt the island's goats. Navassa has an automatic lighthouse which is run by the US Coast Guard.
