Environment Reflections™ Environment Reflections gives control over the first reflections of sound waves bouncing off prominent objects in the environment. Environment Reflections simulate early reflections (the first reflections of a sound) of sound from walls, floors, ceilings, and other surfaces. These reflections give important clues to the listener about their surrounding environment. In small enclosed spaces the walls will be close to the listener, so sound reflections will be bounced back to the listener quickly and loudly. In large spaces the sound waves must travel further to reach a reflecting object, and will therefore be delayed and quieter. Environment Reflections allows these different types of environments to be modeled, and together with Environment Panning™, the direction of the sound reflections can be controlled too.
