Add Marks by Traversal
The traversal feature (see Traverse Marks)
provides an efficient way to mark images. Users can mark one image
and then use the mark traversal feature to mark a second image.
You may traverse the select marks either "By point creation order" or
"From left to right". The former refers to the order in which you marked
the image. This method may be convenient if you marked the reference
image systematically. The "From left to right" method starts from the top
left corner of the reference image and moves across to the right. It then
skips to the next line and proceeds to the end.
The following steps explain how to perform mark traversal:
- Mark some feature points in image P.
- Set image P as the reference image in the Mark page of the
Main window.
- Select some or all the marks in image P, and select either the "By point
creation order" option button or "From left to right" button.
- Press "Start" to begin traversing. One selected mark will become the
current point.
- If the point can be seen in a second image, Q, click the right button at
that point. This will add a mark in image Q to the current point.
- After adding a mark in image Q, the current point will automatically
move to the next selected mark in image P. Repeat step 4 to add marks
in image Q for all the corresponding points in image P. If a point in
image P does not appear in image Q, press "Next" button in Main win-
dow to skip it.
You can mark all the point in
one image, then mark the other image using the traversal feature. After
marking all the images, you can then use the traversal feature to
check the correctness of marking.
