Track page in the Main Window
The Track page is for automatically tracking
marks in videos. This
function is only available in Photo4D Pro.
Once points in an initial frame are marked, subsequent frames can be marked
using the Track page. When in the track mode, Photo4D tries to estimate the location
of points in the frames that follow. Tracking can be done when playing the video
either forward or backward.
The Track page is composed of three areas.
Missed Points listbox
Points that Photo4D is unable to track are listed in this box.
Tracking Setup
This area is used to set the tracking parameters listed below:
- Mask size: A small square measured in
pixels used for tracking. Change this
value to reflect the size of feature points appearing in the videos.
- Range: An estimation of the maximum number of pixels the marks
move in two consecutive frames.
- Score T: Tracking stops for a mark whose detection score is lower
than this value.
- Overlap T: Tracking stops when the distance between two marks is
less than this value (in pixels).
Command Buttons
- Mode: The speed at which the tracking runs. It can be either fast or
normalized.
- Play buttons: You can either Backup by one frame, play backward continuously,
stop, play forward, or move up by one frame.
