Geometric Constraint
Photo4D allows users to input their prior knowledge as geometric
constraints among points. Using constraints improve the accuracy of
3D computation. Users can select a set of points that satisfy the
following types of constraint:
- Collinear: the points are on a straight line. At least three
points should be selected.
- Coplanar: the points are on a plane. At least 4 points should
be selected.
- Distance: the points are at a fixed distance from each other. Two
points need to be selected.
- Same X: the points have the same X coordinate value.
At least two points need to be selected.
- Same Y: the points have the same Y coordinate.
At least two points need to be selected.
- Same Z: the points have the same Z coordinate.
At least two points need to be selected.
- Same XY: the points have the same X and Y coordinates
At least two points need to be selected.
- Same XZ: the points have the same X and Z coordinates.
At least two points need to be selected.
- Same YZ: the points have the same Y and Z coordinates.
At least two points need to be selected.
The Constraint subpage of the Setup Page in the Main Window
can be used to set constraints.
Pressing the "Show..."
button in the Constraint subpage invokes a
Constraint Parameter dialog for displaying the
constraint parameters.
