Detect Subpage in the Mark Page

Automatic mark detection is another useful feature for digitizing surfaces.

The Detect subpage (Photo4D-Pro only) is used to mark an image. It usually applies to situations where hundreds of points need to be marked such as on complex surfaces. The Detect subpage uses a working image only; no reference image is required. It is accessed through the Mark page of the Main Window and has the following features:

• Number of points: is for specifying the number points that need to be detected in an image.
• Score threshold: auto-detection stops for a mark whose detection score is lower than this value.
• Overlap T: auto-detection stops when the distance between two marks is less than this value (in pixels).
• Detect marks button: launches the detect process.
• Abort button: stops auto-detection.
