Point Status and Type
Each coordinate (x, y, or z) of a point in
Photo4D can be in one of the following status:
- I: Invalid, which means that no value is calculated yet.
- C: Computed, which means that the coordinate is computed by Photo4D.
- R: Reference, which means that the coordinate is known and entered
by the user as the reference.
Any point with a R coordinate is a reference point.
In a motion capture project, a point can belong one of the two types:
- fixed point: the coordinates of the point remain unchanged in all the
frames.
- moving point: the point is moving in the world coordinate system.
A reference point is always a fixed point. Therefore, only points that do
not move in the selected world coordinate system can be set as reference
points.
