Constructing Objects

The Model page can be used to construct or edit objects:

• Select the object type: selecting the corresponding subpage in the Model page.
• Create a new object: Type in a name in the Object field and press the key.
• Select an existing object to edit: Press the small arrow at the right side of the object field. A list of existing lines will appear; click on a name to select one.
• Delete an object: clicking the 'Delete' button deletes the current line in editing.

Users should always validate objects before exporting them.

After constructing objects, users should be careful when deleting or merging points. If a point is used in an object and is deleted later, the reference information of this point will be automatically deleted from the object without warning. This may create unexpected changes in the object. For the same reason, merging two points deletes one of those points and therefore should also be done carefully. After deleting or merging points, users should preview objects to make sure they are correct.
