Image Menu

The Image Menu in an Image Window changes how the image is displayed:

• [Image|Normal Size] displays the image at its regular size.
• [Image|Zoom X2] displays the image at two times its regular size.
• [Image|Zoom X3] displays the image at three times its regular size.
• [Image|Zoom X1/2] displays the image at half its regular size.
• [Image|Zoom X1/3] displays images at one-third its regular size.
• [Image|Gammar 1.0] resets the brightness to normal.
• [Image|Gammar +] increases image brightness.
• [Image|Gammar -] decreases image brightness.
• [Image|Color]: switches the image display to color if available.
• [Image|Gray scale]: switches image display to gray scale.
• [Image|Redraw]: redraws image according to option selected.

Note

Opening or zoom in large images may takes a lot of system memory. Too many or too large images may exhaust the system memory and therefore cause Photo4D to terminate without any warning.

For systems with a 256-color display, changing the gamma may result in a roughly dithered image. This is caused by the limited number of colors, not by a Photo4D deficiency. To work around this problem, close other unused image windows, and close-reopen the current one.
