Image Window

An Image window displays an image or the current frame of an image sequence. It consists of a menu bar and display area.

Menu Bar

The Menu Bar in an Image window has two pull down menus:

Display Area

The display area displays an image. It is a workplace for marking and other image related activities. Most of the activities involve using the mouse in a different operation mode.

In the Display area, a regular mark is displayed with a white outline (default color). It has the shape of a tiny hourglass. The mark of the current point has a solid purple(default color). The selected marks or points have green outline (default color). You can change the appearance and color of a mark with the Configuration dialog. If the image is larger than the display area, a horizontal, or vertical, or even a horizontal and vertical scroll bar will appear. The left and middle mouse button can drag the scrollers and pan the image to the proper portion.

Note

Using 2X or 3X zoom for large images may be slow and requires a lot of memory. In this case, the MagGlass Window may be used instead to adjust mark locations.
