Editing Marks in Image Window
Creating and editing marks in the image are done by using a mouse in the
image windows. The basic marking methods are summarized below:
- Creating a new point in the Photo4D database:
clicking the left button
at location (i,j) of image P does three things: First, it
creates a new
point in the Photo4D database; second, it puts a mark for the new
point at the location of (i,j) in image P; and third, it sets
the point as the current point.
- Selecting a current point:
clicking the left button on a mark moves
the current point to that mark. For example, if you
move the cursor to a mark of "Point X" in an image
window and click the left mouse button, this mark and the
corresponding "Point X" mark in other images will
be highlighted with a purple outline.
- Deleting a point:
double clicking the left
button on a mark deletes the
point of this mark.
- Adding a mark to the current point:
clicking the right button at
location (p,q) of image P adds a second mark at
location (p,q) of image P to the current point.
- Deleting a mark from a point:
double clicking the
right button on a mark deletes the mark.
Corresponding marks in other images are not affected.
If the point has no other corresponding mark, then the point
is deleted.
- Merging two points:
clicking the right button on a mark that corresponds to the
current point merges that
mark to the current point.
- Editing the location of marks:
Press the key and use the
right mouse button to drag a mark to a new location. Specifically,
- Move the cursor to a mark
- Press key and then the right mouse button, but do not
release;
- Move the cursor with the right button pressed. This
drags the mark
wherever the cursor moves;
- Release the key and the right mouse button. This leaves
the mark at the location where the button is released
It is easy to remember the editing actions according to the mouse buttons.
