Digitizing Stages

A Photo4D project involves the following stages:

1. Preparation: Examine the object. Determine the points that need to be digitized or motion captured. Tag those points that will be difficult to view in pictures or difficult to track in videos.
2. Imaging: Take pictures of the object. Some basic principles need to be observed in order to achieve good results.
3. Processing: Use Photo4D software to process images or videos. Compute 3D and motion information in order to construct models and motion dataset. After the processing stage, users can export the geometrical and motion data captured by Photo4D to other software packages for modeling, ren- dering, animation, or other purposes.
