Material Dialog
When an object is created, its material is in default value. You may
change the material by invoking the Material dialog. This dialog can be
invoked by the "Material" button in the Model page of the Main Window.
Material values
The material values give definition to an object by giving color,
tone, and texture. Below are the material types which can be changed
by typing a value or by using the small arrow buttons. R, G, B refer to
red, green and blue respectively.
- Ambient light: light source that comes from all direction.
- Diffuse light: light that is absorbed by the surface and spread out
equally in all directions.
- Emissive light: light that is reflected of an object at an angle.
- Specular light: how the light is reflected off an object.
- Shine: degree of reflection off surface.
- Update Preview: redraws object in Preview window to view the effect of
the material change.
- OK: saves changes and closes the dialog.
- Cancel: closes the dialog without saving changes.
