Computing 3D Information

Photo4D can compute 3D information after you completed the following steps:

  1. Mark feature points in images (see Mark Image);
  2. Set reference points;
  3. Set geometric constraints (optional);
  4. Select camera calibration points (not used often);
  5. Set Initial Camera Parameters.
To compute 3D information, invoke the 3D Computation Dialog by one of the following ways:
  1. pressing the 'Compute' button in the 3D Compute subpage of the Compute page in the Main window, or;
  2. selecting the 'Compute...' command of the Process menu in the Camera Parameter window.
In the dialog, select images used in the computation and select proper Computation Parameters. (See Tips for Setting Initial Camera Parameters.)

The 'Compute' button in the dialog starts the computation process.

See Tips for 3D Computing for more information.
