Camera Parameter Window
The Camera Parameter Window displays the camera locations, look-at
directions and other imaging information. It is also used to
set initial values for those parameters before 3D computation.
To open this Window:
- Press the 'Open Camera Param' button in the Camera Param subpage of the Setup page of the Main Window, or;
- Invoke the menu command [Window|Camera
Param] found in any window.
The Camera Parameter window has the following elements.
The menu bar contains the following menus:
The Top/Right/Front View plot: In each plot, a camera is
depicted as a small square with an arrow representing its look
at direction. The camera of the current image is shown as a
slightly larger square. Reference points with X, Y, Z values all
known are also displayed as green dots to help positioning the
cameras.
The Camera Parameter area:
- Image field: press the arrow button and select an image as the
current image. All the parameters value will be displayed.
- Image information field: provides information about the image's calibration
status.
- Camera Parameter fields: Use this area to set rough initial values of
the camera parameters. You will need
to determine values for each image that you will use in the
3D computation. Once the program has completed the computation,
this area displays the computed values.
- Mag field: used to magnify or reduce the position of the cameras in the
view plots.
- Arrow field: used for changing the arrow length in the view plots.
Command buttons below the Camera Parameter area:
- Redraw button: resets the Camera Parameters for the selected image.
- To Preview button: invokes a Preview window
and position the preview viewport using the current camera
parameters. In another word, press this button will set
the preview window in such a way as if you look though
the current camera viewfinder.
- From Preview button: sets the camera parameters
according to the viewport parameters of the Preview window.
- Save button: Changes must be saved or they will be lost.
