I wish I could easily create new Shortcuts. Your wish is granted! Icons represent files and other items throughout Windows. File icons allow you to easily access the files on your computer's disk drives. Shortcut icons allow you to perform tasks, such as running programs or opening folders, without having to wade through multiple menus. Icons display an image to represent the files they stand for. Icons that represent the same kind of file look alike. Icons that represent Shortcuts have an arrow superimposed over the image. Many icons and Shortcuts are created automatically. You may also create your own custom Shortcuts. Place a new Shortcut on my desktop. Place a new Shortcut in a folder. Place a new Shortcut in the Start menu. Restart Windows with a Shortcut. Start multiple programs with a Shortcut. Display a folder with a Shortcut. Start Explorer with no folders expanded. View desktop icons from the Start menu. |
