TEST2000 TEST2000 is offered as a free download from the SchoolHouse Web site; however, a small charge is made to cover administration costs for hard copies. It is included as standard within both DATE2000 Fix and DATE2000PRO. TEST2000 works on most PC BIOS, networks and servers, irrespective of the operating system used (i.e., DOS 2.11, Windows 3.11, 95 or NT). Simple in concept and use, the test disk is loaded as a bootable floppy; this then automatically runs through several tests checking both the BIOS and CMOS performance by forcing the machine to pass into the year 2000. TEST2000 informs you of each stage and finishes with a final recommendation. If the machine passes the tests then no further action is required with respect to the hardwareÆs own date; however, if it fails then a recommendation is made to install the fix.
